Our owner & founder is a Professional 1st Team UK/European Scout with 15 years’ experience. Steve hosts all of our live chats on Zoom whilst also personally mentoring course attendees & providing advise whenever needed! Steve is also the link between our client clubs & course attendees.
Steve Walsh
Steve played a pivotal role to Leicester City making sporting history in winning the Premier League with player identification & signings of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez & N’Golo Kante to name just a few! Steve has provided excellent insight, education & tips to our course attendees as they enter the World of Scouting!
Chris Hughton
Chris has had a hugely successful career as player & as a manager!
More recently Chris led Brighton from the bottom 3 of the Championship into the Premier League for the 1st time in the club’s history whilst also ensuring they retained their Premier League status the following season. On top of this he also led the team to only it’s ever 2nd FA Cup semi-final!
Chris has provided fantastic insight to our course attendees in the value of scouting to an elite manager & in educating course attendees what key information he looks for on player & next opposition scouting reports combined with the markers of talent he looks for himself when live scouting!
Joleon Lescott
Joleon Lescott has provided course attendees with the knowledge & key attributes to look for in full backs & central defenders. He has also provided insight with regards to the role of a loan manager at a club, which he currently holds with Manchester City.
Joleon had a exceptional player career winning the Premier League, FA Cup & League Cup whilst also winning 26 caps for England.
Steve McClaren
Steve McClaren was assistant manager to Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United from 1999 to 2001. His managerial career began at Middlesbrough in the Premier League where guided them to their first major trophy in winning the League Cup in 2004 & led them to a UEFA Cup final in 2006. He was appointed manager of the England national team in August 2006. In 2008 Steve was appointed manager of Dutch club Twente, with whom he won the club's first ever Eredivisie championship in 2010. Steve is now back at Manchester United as a 1st team coach.
Steve has provided course attendee’s with invaluable insight as to the key information a manager wants from their scouts combined with the differences in scouting set ups across the countries, he has managed in.
Tony Coton
Tony made over 500 appearances as a professional GK for clubs including Watford, Man City & Birmingham City to name a few. After finishing his playing career he became a GK coach for Man Utd for 10 years under Sir Alex Ferguson. Following a knee injury Tony then became an agent & later became chief scout for Wigan Athletic. In 2015 he then became head goalkeeping scout for Aston Villa. Tony was then appointed as chief scout for Sunderland AFC & re-joined Man Utd in 2020 as head goalkeeping scout.
